    Empowering Women in Technology

The Empowering Women in Technology Programme advances gender inclusion by providing women and girls with practical technical, digital, entrepreneurial and leadership skills. Women are central to household energy, water, food and health management, yet they remain underrepresented in many technological fields. EWAH-NEXUS creates accessible pathways for women to become technicians, innovators, entrepreneurs and decision-makers. The programme connects practical learning with mentorship, confidence building and opportunities to apply new skills.

    What we do:

    Clean-Energy and Technical Skills

Women receive practical exposure to renewable energy, solar installation and maintenance, basic electricity, electronics and productive clean-energy applications.

    Digital Skills and Innovation

Training introduces digital literacy, online tools, digital monitoring, IoT, data use and other technologies that support participation in the modern economy.

    Enterprise and Financial Capability

Participants develop business ideas, improve financial literacy and learn how technical or digital skills can be converted into sustainable products and services.

    Leadership, Mentorship and Career Pathways

Women professionals and mentors help participants build confidence, professional networks and clearer pathways into education, employment and enterprise.

    Our Approach

Training is practical, inclusive and adapted to participants' education and experience. Women learn through guided demonstrations, teamwork, mentorship and real community projects. Where possible, continued support helps participants pursue employment, develop businesses or lead local initiatives.
    Who We Serve
The programme serves women entrepreneurs, girls and female students, women's associations, female farmers, young graduates, aspiring technicians and women in underserved communities.
    The Impact We Seek
We seek to increase female participation in technical and digital fields, create more women-led green enterprises, improve income opportunities and inspire girls to pursue science, engineering and technology careers.
