    Empowering communities begins with knowledge.

    Capacity Building and Entrepreneurship

The Capacity Building and Entrepreneurship Programme equips women, youth, technicians, farmers and community groups with practical skills needed to create employment, improve services and establish sustainable enterprises. EWAH-NEXUS recognises that training produces greater impact when it is connected to mentorship, business development, market opportunities and real community problems. We therefore combine technical learning with entrepreneurship and continuing support.

    Our Areas of Action

    Technical and Vocational Capacity

Participants develop hands-on skills in renewable energy, agriculture, food processing, water technologies, environmental services and other locally relevant areas.

    Business and Financial Literacy

Training covers business models, customer needs, basic accounting, pricing, financial planning, record keeping and responsible enterprise management.

    Innovation and Product Development

Participants identify community challenges, develop solutions, build prototypes and improve products or services using testing and feedback.

    Mentorship and Market Readiness

Experienced professionals support participants as they refine ideas, strengthen confidence, form partnerships and prepare to enter employment or the market.

    Our Approach

Participants learn by doing and by solving practical problems. Training combines demonstrations, guided exercises, teamwork, project planning and mentorship. Promising ideas may progress to prototype development, field testing, partnership building and enterprise support.
