EWAH-NEXUS for African Development conducted a hands-on training session focused on fruit juice production and natural preservation methods that ensure at least one year of shelf life without using chemical preservatives. The session aimed to equip participants with practical skills in value-added processing of local fruits and sustainable preservation techniques that are safe, cost-effective, and environmentally friendly.
Teach participants how to produce high-quality fruit juice from local fruits
Introduce natural preservation techniques enabling the juice to be stored for one year or more without chemicals.
Promote food sustainability and income generation through value-added fruit products.
Build community capacity in safe, clean, and market-ready food processing methods.
